Dream Start event
The Dream Start event sponsored by some very well known names proved to be a well attended event. It’s main focus was to help local businesses, start-up’s and budding entrepeneurs turn their dreams into reality. A number of presentations were available from leading business people and academics, along with a comprehensive exhibition area.
As a YABA member, I was invited onto the Dreamer’s Den panel to review some business ideas that were presented on the day. (Details: Dreamers Den ).
It is encouraging to find that people are still optimistic about business, despite all the doom and gloom about the credit crunch. The common denominator with all the presenters was enthusiasm, passion and tenacity to make their idea work.
